この度の反政府デモにより、タイの玄関口であるスワンナプーム空港が閉鎖されたことで、旅行者の皆様に多大なるご迷惑をおかけしました。

11月29日のタイ政府の記者会見後、「タイの空港閉鎖により影響を受けた旅行者に1日2,000バーツ支給される」旨、報道されましたが、これは現金による支給ではなく、現地にて2,000バーツ相当の宿泊を提供した措置であり、宿泊費に対する返金措置は想定されていませんでした。

尚、現在、タイ国政府観光庁日本支局では、現地に対しこの措置に関する対応を明確にするための最終確認作業を行っておりますが、確認までの過程に時間がかかることをご理解ください。

つきましては、今後事情が変わることもありえますので、現地での宿泊費の領収書や帰国時に利用した搭乗券の半券、航空券などは今しばらく保管くださいますようお願い致します。

今後、今回の措置に関する変更が生じた場合には、随時当庁のホームページ上でご案内申し上げます。

To the travelers stranded by the closure of Suvarnabhumi Airport
We are truly sorry for your inconvenience due to the close of the major airport in Thailand by the anti government demonstration.

After the press conference by Thailand Government on November 29th, media covered the news of 2,000 baht compensation a day for the travelers affected by the close of the airport. This does not mean providing cash but providing the accommodation worth for 2,000 baht. In addition, there is no cash refund.

However, the above news already caused some confusion regarding to the refund matters. TAT Japan is requesting for the final procedure to relief this matter. Please understand this confirmation will take a while.

In this regard, in case the situation may be changed near future, please hold the receipt of accommodation, boarding pass and air ticket.

We will inform you if the situation would be changed.
